2 main display modes : index cards & lists

The 50 data fields are gathered in 6 topics :

- Localization of the cartridge, using 3 parameters (arbitrarily called Drawer, Row & Box)

- International classifications (ECRA - SAA - DWM - GR - Erlmeier-Brandt)

- Main features (dimensions, denomination, Case shape, Base shape, Priming type ...)

- Origin & headstamp

- Constitutive materials and remarkable colored elements

- Measures (ECRA measurement system)

As an image is often more conclusive than a long description, MSELECT also makes it possible to display, simultaneously but in separate windows, an image of the headstamp and another of the cartridge itself.

The weights can be expressed as well in grams as in grains. The passage from one unit to another is carried out with a simple right click on the value you want to be converted.

The data acquisition is made as easy as possible thanks to the use of 18 drop-down lists containing preregistered items and with the possible card duplication.

Moreover, external documents can be attached to each cartridge : Pictures, sketches, photographs of boxes, scanned images ... All these documents are stored in a database but can be printed or reexported to be joined to reports or mails for example.

Lastly, MSELECT is able to directly import data from the ECRA Caliber Data Viewer.

It's easy to customize your grid, according to your own habits and type of collection, changing the order and the width of the columns, hiding some of them or "blocking"  other columns on the left to make them always visible on the screen ...

Then, you can save these changes to use your new grid configuration as future startup configuration.

A contextual menu, displayed thanks to the right mouse button, allows a direct data entry, offering the same edition functions as those that exist on the cards (drop-down lists ...).

It's also possible to "subselect" some rows or columns to print or export them into another software (a word processor for example) to write a mail or a report.

In addition, MSELECT can draw automatically every case profile, according to its measurements, at its real size or adjusted to fit the size of the window ...
